Who AI actually cites — measured page by page.
Each card tells you three things you cannot get anywhere else: how often the assistant named that page, where it ranked when the assistant went looking, and whether its robots.txt was even letting AI crawlers in. Pages that scored zero are here too — a directory that only lists winners tells you nothing.

The #N on a card is that page's position on one board of all 48 — citation rate first, then how many times it was cited, then the rank the search engine gave it on entry. Change the sort and the number stays with the page: it is the page's position, not its row.

2 runs failed to parse and are excluded from both the numerator and the denominator. The model did answer — you can see citations in its raw output — but our parser could not extract them, and counting those runs as zeros would have penalised every source equally for our own failure. This is a known trait of the model we use, not a property of any page.

Where the titles come from. Page titles and domains are taken from the pages themselves, so you can find them. Everything else on a card — the citation count, the rank, the word count, the retrieval access — is our measurement, and the method is published in full.
The same measurements, three ways
Most cited. The pages the assistant named most often, ordered by the share of measurable runs rather than the raw count — so a source we happened to measure six times is not rewarded for having been measured more. Ties go to search rank. They never go to anyone who paid.
Ranked first, cited zero times. Every source that entered its pool at #1 and was then not cited once. These pages sat at the top of the search results and the model still went elsewhere — the clearest evidence on this site that a search position and a citation are two different things.
Which queries are still open. Ordered by how much the set of cited sources changes between runs of the same query. A low overlap means no page owns that answer yet, which is the only honest way we know of saying where there is still room to work.
How to read a card
The badge is the whole point. A green 4/5 means the assistant named this page in four of the five runs we could measure for its query. Green is two-thirds or more, amber is one or more, red is zero. A red badge is not a judgment on the product — it is what we measured, published.
Search rank is not the citation score. It is where the page sat in the search results we built the pool from. Several listings here ranked first and were never cited once; one ranked fifth and was cited every single time. Both numbers are shown side by side so you can watch them disagree.
Retrieval access is the one physical fact on the card. blocked means the site's robots.txt turns away OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User or PerplexityBot — the crawlers that decide what can be quoted. Blocking those is not a content problem, it is a closed door, and no amount of writing fixes it.
An em dash means we could not read it. Some servers return nothing useful to a non-browser request, so there is no word count and no robots answer to report. We show a dash rather than guess, because a guessed number on a page like this would poison every other number on it.
Questions about the directory
How do I get my product listed?
Email the domain, one line on what the product does, and the query you think it should be cited for. We run it through the same method as every listing already here, which takes a few days because the runs are real. You do not pay to be listed, and being listed does not buy you a better badge.
Where did these 48 listings come from?
They are the sources from our own citation experiment. We ran five real queries through a web search, collected every unique source the search returned, and measured each one six times. Every listing on this page today is one we measured ourselves. Submissions go through a page of their own, and a submitted domain goes through the same runs before it appears — with its real number, including a zero.
What does the number on a listing mean?
Citations divided by the runs we could actually measure for that source's query. We ran each query six times; two runs in the whole study failed to parse and were removed from both the numerator and the denominator, so the denominator is five for two queries and six for three. A listing showing 4/5 was cited in four of its five measurable runs. The denominator is never the total number of runs anywhere in the study.
Do you promise my citation count will go up if I get listed?
No. We cannot control your content, the platform algorithms or your competitors, so we do not promise a number. What we promise is that we test every month, that we report what we find including a zero, and that we make the fixes.
Does paying change where a listing appears?
No. Sponsored placements are labelled and carry rel=sponsored, and they never enter a list ordered by citation count. Rankings are produced by measurement, and payment cannot move them.
