Peec AI alternatives
Peec AI charges $95 a month for gap analysis and a crawlability audit — the same ground this site measures, in a different shape and at a different price. Below is what overlaps, what does not, and which of the two fits when your problem is a page rather than a dashboard.
What Peec AI is, in their own words
Understand, measure, and improve your brand's performance in AI search. Unlimited users on every plan. — Peec AI, pricing page, read 17 October 2026
Gap analysis — Sources that appear often and name competitors but not you, by source, domain, subdomain, URL, and host. — Peec AI, feature list, read 17 October 2026
Crawlability audit — Which AI bots your robots.txt allows, partially allows, or blocks, across 40+ bots. — Peec AI, feature list, read 17 October 2026
Read those last two quotes again, because they are the reason this page is longer than the others in this section. The first describes sources that name your competitors and not you — which is the same question our directory and our experiment are built around. The second checks whether AI crawlers can reach you at all — which is the first of our eight free checks. Peec AI already sells both, as part of a subscription.
Starter $95/mo — 50 prompts, 3 models, 1 project, daily tracking, unlimited users
Pro $245/mo — 150 prompts, 2 projects · Advanced $495/mo — 350 prompts, 5 projects, multi-country
Enterprise — Custom. Extra models $30 / $70 / $140 per month. Annual billing saves $60 / $180 / $300.

Where the two overlap
Finding the sources that name competitors and skip you
This is Peec AI's gap analysis, at source, domain, subdomain, URL and host level. It is also the organising idea behind our directory: forty-eight sources from five real queries, each measured six times, with the zeros published. They do it continuously across a brand; we do it once, in public, with the raw runs.
Checking whether AI crawlers can reach your site
Peec AI audits robots.txt across 40 or more bots. Our first free check asks the same question and adds the distinction between training crawlers and retrieval crawlers — because blocking the first does not block the second, and only the second affects citation.
Turning a diagnosis into a recommended action
Their Act section ranks opportunities and generates actions from your data. Our generator writes the actual files — llms.txt, the robots.txt crawler block, site-wide JSON-LD — that you copy and ship. Same direction, different output: a ranked list versus a file you can upload.
What this means for you. If those three rows are what you need, Peec AI sells them today as a subscription and we do not sell a subscription at all. The honest summary is that they cover more, continuously, for more money per month.
Four things Peec AI does better than us
They cover engines we do not touch
ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI on the entry tier, with Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral and Perplexity available. Monitoring is not what we sell. Our work is on a page you own: eight checks that run now, and a one-time job that makes the changes.
They read your actual traffic
Server-log integrations with Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify, AWS, CloudFront, Akamai and Google Cloud CDN, plus AI-referral attribution and crawl insights showing which bot hit which page and what status code it got. We have no integrations and cannot see any of it.
They have scale and a track record we do not
The pricing page says 3,500+ brands and agencies, and it carries named customer quotes about traffic and demo-request growth. This site has zero customers and zero case studies, because it is new. No framing changes that.
They are built for a team, with agency pricing
Unlimited users on every plan, role-based permissions, SSO, an API, an MCP endpoint, a Looker Studio connector and a separate agency pricing page. If you are buying for an agency running many brands, that is a real advantage and we have nothing comparable.
Why this section exists. A comparison that only lists the author's advantages is advertising. On the four rows above, Peec AI wins outright, and we would rather you learn that here than after paying us.
Which one fits your situation
You need to watch a brand over time
- Your question is monthly: are we gaining or losing citations
- You need several engines and several regions, not one page
- You have a team, and seats and permissions matter
- You can carry $95 to $495 a month, or you are buying for an agency
You need one page diagnosed and then repaired
- Your question is about one page, not a portfolio
- Nobody on your side is going to implement recommendations
- You want to see the whole problem before paying anyone
- Your budget is one-off — $199 — not monthly
Questions this page raises
How much does Peec AI cost?
As read on 17 October 2026: Starter $95 a month for 50 prompts and one project, Pro $245 for 150 prompts and two projects, Advanced $495 for 350 prompts and five projects, Enterprise Custom. Extra models are $30, $70 or $140 a month depending on the plan, and annual billing saves $60, $180 or $300.
Do they do the same thing as you?
Partly, and more than any other tool on this list. Their gap analysis and their crawlability audit cover ground we also measure. What they do not do is change your page: like every platform here, they sell the view and the recommendation, and somebody still has to implement it.
Is there a free alternative to Peec AI?
No free monitoring platform exists, and Peec AI has no free tier at all — its entry point is $95 a month. Our three checks are free and unlimited, but they answer a narrower question about a single page rather than tracking a brand across engines. Those are not the same job, and we are not going to pretend they are.
Should I use Peec AI or you?
If you need continuous cross-engine monitoring of a brand, Peec AI — and on monitoring per dollar they beat us at every tier. If you need one page diagnosed and then repaired, us. They are not competing for the same budget line, and a page that claims otherwise is advertising.
