PRICES · READ 16–18 OCTOBER 2026

Black Friday changes the price. This is the price it changes from.

Every November the same tools put a number in a red box and call it a deal. That number only means something next to the price that was charged the other 364 days — so that is what this page is. Every published price of every AI visibility tool we track, read from the vendor's own pricing page, with the date we read it. When a discount shows up, put it next to this table and see whether anything actually moved.

our prices — $0 / $29 / $79 a month · fix pack $199 once · done-for-you $599 once

A dash means we did not see that number on the vendor's pricing page on the date shown — not that it does not exist. Prices change and quotes move; the link in each row goes to the page the number came from. The "first 12 months" column is the cheapest paid tier multiplied by twelve, on monthly billing, before any discount. We also sell one-time work that has no monthly equivalent: $199 fix pack, $599 done-for-you — paid once, nothing renews.

The only discount any of these actually publishes

annual prepay, on the page all year

Two of the seven — Otterly AI and us — publish an annual price next to the monthly one. In every case the annual number is lower, and in every case it is on the pricing page in October exactly as it is in July. That is not a Black Friday deal. It is a prepay discount, and you can take it on any day of the year.

Computed from the two published numbers. Nothing in this table is typed in by hand.

Read the annual price as a bet, not a discount: you are paying twelve months up front to save between 13% and 17%, which is a bet that you will still want the product next October. On a monitoring subscription that is a real bet, because what you are buying is a reading and it stops the month you stop paying. On a one-time fix the question does not arise — there is nothing to renew.

$199 fix pack, $599 done-for-you — paid once, nothing renews — $199 ÷ $29 = 6.9 months of the cheapest monitoring tier.

Four checks before you believe a discount

works on any software, not just ours
01

Was that original price ever actually charged? A 50% cut from a number nobody ever paid is a new price with a story attached. Ask when the list price last applied and what an invoice from that month looked like. If the answer is vague, the original price is decoration.

02

Is the discount annual-only? If the cheap number requires twelve months up front, you are not getting a discount — you are giving them a loan. Divide the saving by twelve and ask whether the lock-in is worth that monthly amount, because that is what you are being paid.

03

Does the price go up in month thirteen? Introductory pricing is the most common deal in software, and the number that matters is the renewal price, which is usually in a footnote or in the terms rather than on the pricing page.

04

Did the discount shrink what you get? Seats, prompt caps, credit allowances and model counts are where a discount is usually funded from. Compare the tier limits, not only the tier price — a 30% cheaper tier with half the prompts is not 30% cheaper.

One thing we looked for and did not find

a null result, published anyway

We expected at least one of these six to be blocking retrieval crawlers in its own robots.txt — a vendor selling AI visibility whose own site shuts the door on the crawlers that feed those answers would be worth writing about. We checked all six on 18 October 2026 and every one allows them. No finding, so no story. In the wider pool of 48 sources we measured for the citation study, 7 do block them — so the behaviour is common, it just is not a difference between these six.

Checked: robots.txt for tryprofound.com, peec.ai, otterly.ai, athenahq.ai, scrunch.com and kollavo.com, read on 18 October 2026. All six return a group that applies to every user agent and allow it. The 7-of-48 figure comes from the same 48-source pool used in the citation study; the method is on the methodology page.

What we are doing for Black Friday

answered plainly

Nothing. The free tools are free in November and in July. The paid options are not open yet, and their buttons stay disabled until they are — the pricing page says so in plain words rather than after a countdown. We are not releasing a coupon we invented last week, and we are not putting a clock on this page. A page that teaches you to spot a fake discount, while running one, would be worth nothing to you and less to us.

What we will do is keep the table above current. Every row carries the date it was read; when a number moves, the date moves with it. We are not a price-monitoring service and this page is not a live feed — if you need today's number, the link in the row goes to the page it came from, and that page always wins.

If you are going to buy one of these anyway

the cheapest honest way in
  • Start at the cheapest tier that includes the one thing you need, not the tier the comparison table makes look reasonable. On Otterly that is $29 for daily tracking across four engines; on Peec AI it is $95; on AthenaHQ $295 buys 3,600 credits and eleven models.
  • Do not move up a tier until a specific report you cannot produce yourself comes out of the cheaper one. That is the only honest signal that the next tier is worth its price.
  • Ask for the renewal price in writing before you pay the introductory one. Not the discount, the renewal — they are different numbers and only one of them recurs.
  • Run the free check on your own site first. If the page is not readable by a retrieval system, no amount of monitoring will make it citable, and you will spend the subscription watching a flat line.

Black Friday 2026 falls on 27 November. If a deal appears that week, the only question worth asking is which number in the table above it changes — and if the answer is "none of them", it is a banner, not a discount.

Questions this page raises

including the awkward ones
Are any of these tools running a Black Friday discount?

We do not know of one, and we are not going to guess. The pricing pages we read on 16–18 October 2026 showed no seasonal pricing on any of the six. If a discount appears later, hold it against the table above: a real one moves the number you actually pay, and a cosmetic one only moves the banner.

Is Otterly AI's $25 a month a Black Friday price?

No. It is the annual rate, and it is on their pricing page all year — the same number in July. The only thing that makes it cheaper is paying twelve months up front.

Will your prices change on Black Friday?

No. We are not running a promotion. Our free tools are free in November and in July, and the paid options are not open yet — their buttons stay disabled until they are, which the pricing page says in plain words.

Why is there no coupon code on this page?

Because we do not have one to give you. A code invented for a page like this is exactly the thing this page tells you to check for, and we would rather have a page with no code than a page that contradicts itself.

Do you earn a commission if I buy one of these?

No. There is no affiliate link and no referral arrangement behind any row on this page. The links go to the vendor's own pricing page because that is where the number came from, and that is the only reason they are there.
