Alternatives to Profound, Peec AI and Otterly AI.
All three are monitoring tools — they watch prompts and report where you show up. If what you actually need is the page fixed rather than another dashboard, here is what each one charges and what we do instead.
What the three platforms charge
Every figure below was read off the vendor's own pricing page on the date shown, not from a review or a directory. Prices change; if you are reading this months later, check the source.
Profound — Trial Free (50 prompts daily for 7 days) · Enterprise Custom. No published price for any paid tier.
— read from tryprofound.com/pricing on 17 October 2026
Peec AI — Starter $95/mo · Pro $245/mo · Advanced $495/mo · Enterprise Custom
— read from peec.ai/pricing on 17 October 2026
Otterly AI — Lite $29/mo · Standard $189/mo · Premium $489/mo · Enterprise Custom (annual: $25 / $160 / $422)

Why the prices are here. An alternatives page that will not name the alternatives' prices is not an alternatives page. Every figure below was read off the vendor's own pricing page on the date shown, so you can put it next to ours and decide without a sales call in between.
Four reasons, and what to use instead
You cannot find out what it costs
This is the most common reason, and the one the vendor controls. Profound publishes no price at all — you get a seven-day trial and then a sales conversation. If you need a number before you can get a budget approved, look at Otterly AI, which starts at $29 a month and publishes every tier. Our own prices are on the pricing page in full, including the one-time job.
You want the page changed, not a chart about the page
Every platform on this list sells you a view of the problem plus recommendations. None of them edits your site. If the thing you are actually missing is somebody to make the change, a monitoring subscription will not close that gap no matter how long you hold it — this is the one reason on this list that leads to us.
You do not believe the score
A reasonable position. We have measured three tools scoring the same brand against the same forty prompts and reporting 22, 19 and 24 hits. Every platform on this list publishes a single number with its own definition behind it, and none of them publishes the raw runs. If you want to see the working, our method page is the only thing on this list that does that — and it also lists the eight limitations that weaken our own figures.
You want to check one page, once, without an account
None of the three has a permanent free tier. Profound gives you seven days, Otterly AI starts at $29 a month and Peec AI at $95, and all three want a signup first. Our eight checks run in your browser, need no account, and are unlimited — because they never touch our servers. They answer a narrower question than a subscription does, and for a one-off look that is the point.
The three pages in this section
Profound alternatives
The one with no published price. What the trial actually gives you, and what to do when you need a number instead of a demo.
Peec AI alternatives
The one closest to us on features and furthest on price. Their gap analysis and crawlability audit do part of what this site does, which is worth knowing before you pay either of us.
Otterly AI alternatives
The one built for daily monitoring. Their entry tier is $29 a month and tracks fifteen prompts daily across four engines — that is what a monthly subscription buys. Ours is a one-time repair: we find why a page is not being cited and then change the page.
What each one gives you
A dashboard you check every month
- Tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini for you, month after month
- Shows where your brand appears in AI answers, with a score the vendor defines
- A recurring cost — the price is monthly, and so is the work
- Recommendations arrive as software output; implementing them is still on your side
A page that stops being blocked
- Eight checks on a page you own, every result shown, free and unlimited
- A generator that writes the files the checks say are missing
- A one-time job where we go into your site and make the changes
- A published method, and every number shown with how it was measured
Questions this page raises
Are you an alternative to Profound, Peec AI or Otterly AI?
Not in the usual sense. Those are monitoring platforms: you subscribe, and they show you where your brand appears in AI answers. We are a diagnostic and a one-time repair — we tell you why a page is not being cited, and then we change the page. If you want a dashboard to watch month after month, that is what they sell. If you want the page fixed, that is what we do.
Why do you publish your competitors' prices?
Because price is the reason most people search for an alternative, and a page that will not name the alternatives' prices is not a comparison — it is an advert with a table around it. Every figure here was read from the vendor's own pricing page on the date shown, and you can check each one in a single click.
Is there a free alternative to these platforms?
There is no free monitoring platform, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you a trial. Profound gives seven days, Otterly AI starts at $29 a month, Peec AI at $95, and none of the three has a permanent free tier. Our three checks are free and unlimited, but they answer a different question: not who cites you, but whether your page can be reached and read at all.
Which one should I pick if I just want the problem fixed?
None of them, and that is the gap this site exists for. All three sell monitoring and recommendations, and the recommendations are software output that somebody still has to implement. If nobody on your side is going to implement them, a subscription will not fix the page. Our paid work is priced per job rather than per month for exactly that reason.
