Profound measures the answer. We change the page.
Profound is a monitoring platform: it watches what AI assistants say about your brand across prompts and engines. We do not monitor. We take one page you own, find what a machine cannot lift out of it, and hand you the files that fix it. Below is what each one sells, what it costs, and which to buy first.

What Profound sells, as their own page states it
An AI visibility monitoring platform: it runs your prompts against several assistants and reports how often your brand is named, next to your competitors.
Trial — Free — 50 prompts daily for 7 days
Paid tiers — No published price — enterprise quote only
— read from tryprofound.com/pricing on 17 October 2026
No paid tier has a public price. If you need a number before a budget can be approved, this is the part of Profound you cannot plan around.
What Profound does well
- Continuous tracking across many prompts — a weekly reading of where you stand
- Competitive share of voice: who gets named when the same question is asked
- A dashboard a marketing team can show upward without having to explain what it means
What we do — and what we deliberately do not
We take one page you own and run eight checks on it: whether a retrieval crawler can reach it, whether llms.txt is a real file rather than a fallback page, whether the page carries structured data, whether it is long enough to be worth quoting, whether there is anything question-shaped to lift, and three more. Then we hand you the files that fix what the checks found — llms.txt, llms-full.txt, the AI-crawler block for robots.txt, and JSON-LD.
We do not monitor, and we do not track your brand across assistants. That is a different product on a different price model, and several companies on this page sell it well. What we sell is a change to a page, delivered once.
our prices — $0 / $29 / $79 a month · fix pack $199 once · done-for-you $599 once
We publish every price on the pricing page, including the one-time job, because a comparison page that hides its own number is not a comparison.
Where the two mechanisms differ
Profound tells you where you stand
- Renews monthly; the reporting stops when you stop paying
- The output is a dashboard, and a dashboard does not change a page
- Worth it when the problem is that nobody knows the answer
We change a page you own
- Paid once; nothing renews and nothing expires
- The output is files on your site, which you keep
- Worth it when the problem is that the page cannot be lifted
Which one fits your situation
You already rank and want to know whether AI names you — you need a reading, not a fix
You have a marketing team that will act on the dashboard themselves
You can spend without a published price, or you can wait for a quote
You need a specific page to stop being unreadable, not a number that describes the problem
You want to see the price before you talk to anyone
You want to re-run the check yourself and get the same result
The first three are real. If any of them describes you, buy the subscription — it is the right product for that problem, and we are not going to pretend otherwise to win a sale.
Questions this comparison raises
Does Profound fix anything, or only report?
It reports. The product is measurement and monitoring; the changes to your pages are left to you. That is a legitimate division of labour, and it is the opposite of ours: we sell the change.
Why can I not see Profound pricing anywhere?
Because they do not publish it. Their pricing page offers a free seven-day trial and routes paid interest to a sales conversation. We publish ours in full, including the one-time job.
Can I use both?
Yes, and for a large site it is a reasonable split: they tell you whether the market names you, we make the pages that could be named readable. Nothing about one prevents the other.
